Speaking + Media
Honest conversations about the subjects men avoid.
Cesar brings 25 years of media experience and lived experience to stages, panels, podcasts, and interviews.

Signature Topics
Reinvention After 50
What happens when the career that defined you ends, and the identity built on top of it goes with it. Cesar tells the story of twenty-five years at CNN and the years that followed, then turns it outward: how men rebuild a self that does not depend on a title, and why the second half asks a different question than the first.
Fatherhood and Presence
A candid talk about being available in the room rather than merely providing for it. Cesar speaks as a father of three about what busyness costs a family, what it takes to repair it later than you would like, and how presence is practiced rather than promised.
Purpose After Achievement
For audiences of people who have already won the thing they were chasing and are quietly uneasy about it. This talk examines the gap between accomplishment and meaning, why so few successful men will name it out loud, and what a durable sense of purpose actually requires.
Responsible Psychedelic Education
A calm, non-promotional briefing on a subject usually delivered as hype or panic. Cesar covers how to read the research honestly, risks and contraindications, screening, legal realities, and respect for the traditions these practices come from. No dosing guidance, no sourcing, no medical claims — education, and the questions to ask before anything else.
Mental Clarity and the Fog
The slow fog that settles over men in midlife: the flattened attention, the low-grade numbness, the sense of running an old play out of habit. Cesar names it plainly and walks through the unglamorous work — sleep, therapy, movement, honesty, relationships — that clears it.
Every talk is adapted to the room. Cesar works equally well as a keynote, a moderated fireside, a panelist, or a long-form podcast guest, and he is comfortable taking unscripted questions from an audience that wants to push.
Recent Appearances
Cesar speaks at conferences, festivals, panels, and private gatherings, and appears regularly on podcasts and in interviews about midlife reinvention and responsible psychedelic education.

Long bio
Cesar Marin spent twenty-five years at CNN, where the work was urgent, constant, and — as he now says plainly — a very convenient place to hide. At fifty-five the role ended, and the identity he had built on top of it ended with it.
What followed was the unglamorous work: therapy, hard conversations with his children, and a serious study of psychedelics — the research and its limits, the risks and contraindications, the screening questions, the legal realities, and the Amazonian traditions these practices come from. He treats all of it as education, never as treatment. He offers no dosing guidance, no sourcing, and no medical claims.
Today Cesar is the founder of Cultivating Wisdom, a body of work and a lifestyle brand for men over fifty who are successful on paper and quietly lost underneath. He speaks at conferences, on panels, and on podcasts about reinvention after fifty, fatherhood and presence, purpose after achievement, and responsible psychedelic education, and he leads private work in Colombia for fathers ready to examine the lives they have built. He is a father of three.
